With over 35 years’ experience of innovation in the defence, aerospace, medical, rail, automotive, power generation and industrial electronics markets. We are currently recruiting for an JTAG/Boundary Scan Applications Engineer to come and join our team of engineering professionals.

During your induction period, full training will be given and as time goes by, you will have the opportunity to work on increasingly challenging projects and gain further qualifications. During this process, your individual inclinations and strengths are also taken into account. In the case of recognised knowledge deficits, we will give you the time and the environment to close these in a targeted and practical manner.

As a member of the Peak team, your range of activities will grow to include

  • Development of applications for testing chips, PCBs and entire systems
  • Analysis of the testability of assemblies and definition of the best test strategy
  • Development of test programmes
  • Development of test solutions according to customer requirements
  • Training and consulting of customers from our site or on-site
  • Analysis of test problems and design of appropriate hardware/software solutions
  • Management of application projects
  • Commissioning and installation of complete solutions

Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering/automation technology, or similar
  • Knowledge of hardware circuits and the analysis of circuit diagrams
  • Knowledge of test strategies and the use of modern test and measurement technology
  • Knowledge of programming via LabVIEW, C, C++
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid car driving license or learning towards obtaining
  • Ability to work in a team, good self-management, structured way of working, social competence
  • Independent recognition and targeted closing of knowledge gaps
  • Successful interaction with customers
